King 5 | Faith communities rally for immigrant rights at Seattle courthouse

SEATTLE — About 100 demonstrators from diverse faith communities gathered Thursday afternoon at the steps of Seattle's U.S. District Courthouse for a peaceful vigil supporting immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers.

The "Together in Welcome" multi-faith vigil, organized by the Jewish Coalition for Immigrant Justice NW, drew participants who carried handwritten signs and candles as tensions continue to rise over federal immigration policies.
