Community Engagement

We engage community in learning about immigrant justice, provide programming, host a JCIJ Book Club, and invite individuals, organizations, and congregations to join in acts of solidarity, mutual aid, and support.

Growing a network of immigrant justice activists across the Pacific Northwest.

We engage congregations and organizations in the Pacific NW to take action for immigrant justice through mutual aid, accompaniment, advocacy, and programming.

We invite individuals and members of congregations to our educational programs and provide programming a group can use themselves. We visit congregations and organizations and speak at religious services, meetings, and special events. We amplify and share the amazing work done by Pacific NW Jewish congregations and immigrant advocacy organizations.

“When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. When a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not do them wrong. The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as one of your citizens; you shall love them as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.”

- Leviticus 19:33-34
